How to Regrow
How to regrow is our idea of the How to do video. This idea borns thinking what we know and that we think it is interesting for the people. The initial idea was to do it serious and show how to do real thinks, but we further tought about doing something different, so we decided to do it in a funny way instead. First of all, we show things that are true facts, such as regrow a lettuce from its core or with the top of a carrot, but suddenly the video becomes unrealistic showing how to regrow imposible things.
Furthermore, we decided to use Stop Motion because it is the one that we control the most, but trying other techniques that we have never done and also that are flashy, and the winner was stop motion with paper. We were inversigating how to use Origami, not only in flat but also in 3D. Moreover, we wanted to keep it simple but elegant as Origami itself, for this reason we decided to use a similar colour scheme and simple objects well composed in the background. To sump up, even if we did not had a good space to work in, we end up with a really good quality not only because of the props that we made but also in the lighting. I really enjoied doing foley, and edit it all together with the animation. In a future, I am quite sure that I will repite this technique again. |
Photoshop GIFS
|
This is a Photoshop Work making gifs, using 24 frame per second to understand how many things can be done in just one second. Although I use to draw in photoshop and I like the texture that this software allows to do, I never did moving images using photoshop,
I am not sure if is the better way to do it. Therefore, I want to try to do some gifs in TVPaint because you can also do a good texture with it and is easy to make moving image. |
Brexit
The Brexit short was a group work. We had two week to develop one minute video about the Brexit. Also it was an introduction to work in group and learn about each other's skills.
However, we had some issues to develop the idea but I think that the final result is fabulous. Furthermore, I learn that not all the people get involved at the same level as me, but maybe it is because I have more experience working in group or understanding that the work needs to be done on time. |
